Hailun Piano History & Achievements

Hailun's grand piano showcased in the Golden Concert Hall in Vienna for the European Chinese Association's peace celebration held on August the 16th, 2006. This was the first time a Chinese made piano had been featured in the Viennese Golden Concert Hall.
The Denmark Royal Family selected a Hailun piano to use in the Royal Palace in 2006.
In September 2006, Hailun Pianos received the prestigious "China's Top Brand Name" award.
The Hailun Professional Concert Grand piano was chosen by both world-renowned pianists, Lang Lang, and one of the most popular pianists from Sweden, Robert Wales for the Beijing Olympic celebration party in 2007.
Hailun Piano was chosen for the 2008 Olympic performance and was awarded the International Six Golden Star Medal by the European authoritative music magazine DIAPASON.
In 2009, Hailun Piano Company was identified as a national cultural representative and a Chinese keystone company.
Hailun Piano was sampled by the China Light Industry Musical Instrument Quality Supervise & Exam Center as the piano of choice in January 2010.
Hailun Piano is ranked in the Premium-Level category of Consumer-Grade Pianos by the Piano Buyer Magazine.
In 2012, Hailun won the "Acoustic Piano Line of the Year" by the Musical Merchandise Review (MMR) for the 20th Annual Dealer's Choice Awards.
In 2013, Hailun won MMR's "Acoustic Piano Line of the Year". The award went to the Hailun Grand model HG178.
In 2014, Hailun won MMR's "Acoustic Piano Line of the Year", again for the unchallengeable Hailun Grand HG178.
In 2015, Hailun was awarded MMR's "Legacy Award" for the model HG178. The Hailun HG178 is the only acoustic grand piano to be in MMR's Hall of Fame.
In November 2016, Hailun Chen and his wife won the Austrian Schumpeter Prize for their innovative spirit.
In 2017, Hailun won "Acoustic Piano Line of the Year" again for the entire Hailun Piano Line.
In 2018, Hailun won Music lnc. Editor's Choice Award during the 2018 NAMM (National Association of Musical Merchandise) show.
In 2019, 777 Hailun pianos were used to break The Guinness World Record for the largest number of people playing pianos on January 27th, 2019, in Xiamen, Fujian.

In 2020 and 2021, HAILUN piano was listed as a "high-grade" and a higher "professional level" in Piano Buyer (North American magazine), which was at the same level as the original piano of a famous Japanese brand.

In 2022, the award ceremony of the 33rd TV drama Flying Award and the 27th TV Literature and Art Starlight Award was held in Beijing. HAILUN piano was once again used as a performance piano, demonstrating the brand's influence in the cultural field. In the same year, HAILUN Piano became a cooperative member of the World International Music Competition Alliance. At present, there are no other musical instrument manufacturing members in China.

In 2023 and 2024, HAILUN Piano, as a touring piano of Klangforum wien, performed with 50 pianos in Bolzano, Vienna, Prague and Amsterdam, it was widely reported by European mainstream music media and hundreds of domestic mainstream media.
